Through the embedding of a civic and socially charged public space, this project slices the Gordian knot that is today’s Urban Mass Transit. Three site opportunities define the conceptual approach for this park and structure. The DIFFUSION of transit passengers, prioritizing speed of disembarking; the DIGESTION of waste to energy, manifests through sculpture; and facilitated by the neighbouring New York Times, the DISSEMINATION of Knowledge.
